Experience

Academics

2022-2023 // Videogame Design // Postgraduate degree

This program provided me with a strong foundation in game design, emphasizing hands-on experience through team projects, vertical slices, and rapid prototyping. I gained practical knowledge of key design software and creation tools, while also developing essential soft skills such as communication, adaptability, and collaboration, refining my ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in the process.

2017-2021 // Psychology // Bachelor’s degree

Earning my bachelor’s degree was a long-term objective achieved through persistence and commitment. During this time, I actively participated in student committees and developed strong leadership and communication skills. I also completed an honors thesis on motivation under the supervision of renowned researcher Dr. Robert J. Vallerand, and contributed to research in the Education Laboratory in Psychology with Dr. Maryvonne Merri.

2023-2025 // Videogame Designer // Wild Blueberry Games

This role offered me a true hands-on experience as a game designer in an indie development setting. While no title was ultimately released, I wore multiple hats throughout the project’s lifecycle. I primarily focused on systems design, engine and UI integration, and technical design, where I collaborated closely with programmers to achieve complex gameplay features. I also developed leadership and management skills by stepping into coordination roles when needed and contributing across disciplines to support the team and push development forward.

2016-2017 // Human resources management // Certificate

My first year at UQAM marked a major period of adaptation and personal growth. It sparked my curiosity for learning, broadened my awareness of the world, and fueled my drive to pursue further knowledge. It was also during this time that I began developing my interpersonal skills, a focus that deepened as I continued my studies in psychology.

Skills

My greatest strength is my ability to learn extremely quickly. I’m particularly confident working with the Unity engine and coding in C#, but I adapt easily and can ramp up on any engine or programming language as needed. I’m highly versatile and capable of handling a wide range of design and integration tasks—including systems design, level design, UX/UI, character controllers, and project management.
